My goal is to create a thoughtful, supportive environment where meaningful insight and growth can emerge through discussion, self-reflection, and trying out new and effective behaviors both in the therapy relationship and the outside world. My approach is collaborative and paced according to your needs.
My work integrates several therapeutic approaches, including:
Psychodynamic therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma (CPT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Mindfulness-based interventions
Self-compassion practices
Couples Therapy
What can I expect in my first session?
02
Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know each other and to discuss what brings you to therapy.
During this session, we may:
Talk about the concerns or challenges that led you to seek therapy
Review relevant personal history or life circumstances
Discuss your goals for therapy
Begin exploring possible approaches to support your well-being
The first session is also a time for you to determine whether the therapeutic relationship feels comfortable and supportive for you.

FAQ
-
Therapy sessions are typically scheduled weekly to support consistent progress, though frequency can be tailored to each client’s needs and circumstances. As therapy nears completion, sessions are often spaced further apart to support integration and a thoughtful transition toward ending.
-
Psychotherapy is confidential. What you share in sessions is protected and not disclosed without your written permission. There are a few legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as situations involving risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect, or when required by law. We will talk through these limits together at the beginning of our work, so you can feel informed, supported, and safe.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. This helps ensure that the time can be offered to someone else who may need it. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice are subject to a fee. Of course, I understand that unexpected situations can arise, and will make exceptions to the cancellation policy under certain circumstances.
